Alyssa Harmon-Salter
Hi everyone! My name is Alyssa Harmon-Salter. I am originally from sunny Florida, and have enjoyed living all over the United States. I received an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Additionally, I received a Master of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
After being unsure of what I wanted to be when I grew up, I changed my major 3 times in college while attending University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Then I fell in love with education and advising young professionals. For the last 7 years, I have advised and coached hundreds of college and university students on how to be successful academically, as well as with interview and “getting a job” preparation. I am extremely passionate about serving students within higher education, and I hope to help young professionals like you rock your education, kick start your career, and become an awesome leader in society!
I love traveling, dogs, spending time with family and friends, and taking as many “handstands in cool places” pictures as possible. 🙂 Thanks for reading!
