Raise your hand if you’re constantly on the go. Raise your hand if you or someone you know is experiencing nutritional deficiencies due to poor appetite or a medical condition. How about a hand raise for those of us who just enjoy a simple, yet healthy, shake that’s made from quality ingredients. Now put both your hands in the air because we have the perfect nutritional shake for you, Orgain Protein Shakes!
Orgain protein shakes are not the typical nutritional shakes that you see on hospital lunch trays (although yes, you will find them there). Dr. Andrew Abraham created Orgain for the purpose of fueling healthy lives with ease. The products include protein shakes, meal replacements, protein powders, bars, and more. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re the average twenty-something-year-old, a soon-to-be parent, a recreational athlete, or a corporate guru.
So what is so special about Orgain compared to other protein shakes?
First, all of the products are made with organic ingredients. Second, these products use little to no added sugar and are much higher in fiber than most competitors. Finally, there are plenty of products, from kids’ protein shakes to keto-friendly drinks to collagen and greens powders.
Here is “The Orgain Way”:

If you’re just looking for a satisfying drink, try Orgain’s ready-to-drink protein shakes and meal replacements, or whip up your own smoothie with one of the protein powders. They offer a variety of flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, chocolate caramel, chocolate coconut, strawberries and cream, peanut butter, and more.
You can choose from 100% plant-based, dairy-free, or grass-fed protein.
Most drinks have 20 grams of protein to maintain, build, and repair muscle while keeping your tummy satisfied. When you’re in the mood for a quick bite, you can grab an Orgain protein snack bar with 10 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber. If sensitive to sugar alcohols, be mindful of the snack bar as it is sweetened with erythritol.
Personally, I prefer to have a protein powder in my pantry for when I’m in a hurry or need a nutritional boost for my smoothies. I enjoy the plant-based protein powder with 21 whopping grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber (Holy moly guacamole, that’s considered a GREAT source of fiber!). The sweetness from erythritol can be a little strong for my taste buds, so I know to be more mindful about the sweet ingredients I add to my smoothie. However, it’s the perfect amount for satisfying a sweet tooth in homemade baked goods!

Do you need a nutritional boost? Whether it’s every day or every now and then, protein powders, meal replacements, and snack bars can play an important role in ensuring you receive quality nutrition. Review your daily nutrition routine (quantity and quality of carbohydrates, protein, healthy fats, fiber-rich foods, vitamins and minerals, etc.). Are you getting enough fuel and nutrients to support a healthy lifestyle?
Once you have reviewed your typical nutritional intake, compare it to what your body needs. Typically, our bodies require more or specific nutrition during times of stress, illness, recovery, and high physical activity level. Does your current nutrition meet those needs or would you benefit from a nutrition boost?
A dietitian is a credentialed nutrition professional who is legally able to assess and determine your nutritional needs. If you are curious about whether you need a nutritional supplement, get the science-backed facts from a dietitian who can recommend specific supplements. You can find a dietitian in your area on HealthProfs.com, EatRight.org, and even on our Virtual Coach Directory.
If a nutrition supplement fits into your lifestyle, then it’s time to go shopping! Check out the products page and find what works for you. Choose from a variety of flavors, powders, drinks, and snacks to meet your needs.
