Thriving is unique to each of us and has a massive impact on our life satisfaction, fulfillment, happiness, and health. It gives you:

1) An Abundance of Life Satisfaction

Most of us are familiar with the notion of good and bad days. On good days we get enough sleep, eat well, exercise, and have time to spend with our loved ones. Life is good, we feel energized and ready to take on the world. Thriving people have more of these days. They are happy with their life because it’s aligned with what they believe, value, and enjoy.

2) Extreme Confidence

Confidence significantly impacts our motivation, ability to interact with others, decision making, energy levels, and our ability to take risks. Thriving people are confident. They know who they are, what they are capable of, and, most importantly, they are not afraid to go out there and get what they want. They take risks, make decisions, and strive for more.

3) The Ultimate Positive Impact

A thriving person has more energy to do fulfilling activities and their energy, positivity, and zest for life positively impacts those around them. They are motivated to succeed and are generally healthier, both in body and mind. As a result, they live a fulfilling life and also live longer.

Actionable Steps

1

Thriving Starts With Healthy Living

Our brains like structure; create a routine so you have a solid foundation to build upon. A healthy body is just as important as a healthy mind. We only get one body so it’s important to take care of it. Head to reliable sources like the NHS website to learn how to maintain a balanced diet.

Don’t forget to exercise. Exercising daily will release endorphins and give you a lovely boost to keep you energized for the day. Get creative and make it fun. Variety will keep you motivated!

2

Positivity, Gratitude, and Kindness

Positivity is essential when building a thriving mindset. You see challenges as opportunities and this shift alone makes you more resilient to change. So instead of focusing on the negatives, look for the positives; what are you grateful for? Make a note of one thing that made you smile every day and refer back to it when you’re having a rough day (we all have them).

Practicing gratitude is proven to increase happiness because you start to rewire your brain so that it focuses on what you do have instead of what you don’t. And don’t forget, kindness is a superpower! Take the time to be kind to yourself and to others.

3

Do The Things You Love

Many of us don’t have time to do the things we love but if you want to thrive you need to MAKE time. Prioritize the things that make you happy, cut back on the things that don’t. Spend time with others, try something new, take up a hobby.

Being creative and spending time doing something fulfilling for ourselves is proven to improve mood, energy levels, and effectiveness in other activities. More importantly, you’ll start to enjoy life more, leading to a greater sense of fulfillment.

4

Build A Strong Sense Of Self

In order to thrive, you must really understand who you are and what makes you happy. Spending time on building your self-awareness is key here. Take time to understand what is important to you. What are your values and beliefs? What makes you feel happy and fulfilled?

Research suggests that we are shaped by the 5 people we spend the most time with. Build a network of like-minded people around you who encourage, support, and build your self-confidence.

5

Have A Good Work/Life Balance

Even if you love what you do, it is important to take a break. Make room for other things by taking the time to set clear work/life boundaries. You’ll be more productive during working hours and have more time in the evenings to focus on your own wellbeing and re-charging ready for the next day. It will increase your happiness and fulfillment and improve your relationships and quality of work.

So what are you waiting for? It takes a small change today to see a big change tomorrow. I can help you make the change that matters.

Wishing you an exciting and thrilling journey towards thriving!
